“I signed up for the beanddo Modern Meditation teacher training course having attended a 6 part introduction to meditation with Mick towards the end of 2019. I was hooked and wanted to know more by delving deeper into studying the topic. My objective was not necessarily to become a meditation teacher and I would say that even if this is not the path you desire, you will also get a lot out of the course by approaching it this way.

To say that the course has been transformative or life changing would be an understatement. I don’t think I was actually prepared for the shift and the positive benefits that regular practice and study of meditation through beanddo gave me.

What is fantastic about the way that the course is structured is that a lot of the topics that might seem initially very complex, ancient ideas are broken down and introduced in a step by step methodical way. Through group-work, course work, personal study as well as the weekly live sessions you will really start to look at the world in a different way. These complex topics are introduced, then turned upside down and inside out until eventually it starts to stick.<br>

The benefits of the course not only apply to the literal practice of meditation but will filter through into all aspects of life. I would say that as a person I am now calmer, happier and less stressed. The knock on effect of this has affected my family, colleagues and friends positively. In terms of formal learning, I wouldn’t have thought that I would be using Sanskrit in context or able to conduct an impromptu group meditation session ad hoc, but all these things and more are now available to me. I am even planning a 5 part course on how meditation can help to deal with anger.

I cannot recommend this course highly enough. My only regret is that I can’t do it all over again”.
