There are just three more live-streamed yoga classes with the last one 7.00pm 18 May 2021. It’s been both a challenge and a joy. One of the aspects of my class that work particularly well over zoom is guided Yoga Nidra. Here is the live nidra recording from my class on 27 April. It’s about 15 mins long if you want to try it. This one was particularly deep focusing on not only awareness but awareness of being aware.
So here is how its done:
Prepare by finding yourself at least 15 minutes of uninterrupted space and time. Switch on the recording and use earphones if you want a more immersive experience. Be open, curious and it will expand you into pure awareness.
Lie down on the floor, on your back with shoes off, on a yoga mat if you have one. You also might need a blanket to keep warm.
DON’T lie on your bed, sofa or on cushions. Breathe naturally through the nose and close your eyes and discover you don’t begin and end where your think your body is…and enjoy.
