What we got up to in April 2017
25 April 2017 | beando_admin
April’s been another busy, event-filled month at beanddo:
We completed another of our popular ‘Yoga for Anxiety’ courses.
The six-week programme introduces how the art and science of yoga can be used to help nurture a different mindset that reverses feelings of anxiety, doubt and worry. If you are the one person in four that suffers, then you will know what it feels like and how it forms a barrier between you and your life, your family, friends and colleagues – in fact, the whole world. The course utilises our make happy work algorithm and when activated with practice you too can make happy work.
The course got some great feedback from our students:
“I’m currently on your Yoga for Anxiety course on a Wednesday night and love it. I have recurrent depression and over the past 5 years I’ve read so many books, tried many different meds, been on a few different meditation and yoga courses, even a yoga teacher training and although they’ve helped I genuinely feel like something has changed since commencing your classes. I don’t know if it’s the cumulative effect or the content of your course, the way you teach it or if I’m just finally able to get it. It’s probably all of those factors, but I want you to know how grateful I am.”
Yoga Teaching Training
Our sister initiative, the YogaLife Project, has also completed its first fully-accredited yoga teacher training course. The 200-hour programme is designed to work with people who are living busy lives but feel that going deeper into their practice and teaching it either in classes or as part of their work will empower and help others.
If you are interested in taking part in our next course, sign-up now – it starts in September.

We have also been preparing for the OM Yoga Show in Manchester. This year we will have a larger stand than previously and it will feature both beanddo and the YogaLife Project. For both fans of beanddo and the YogaLife Project, Mick Timpson is hosting a special meditation workshop and a yoga class. It’s also a chance to come and meet Mick and the team and to find out about our various our teacher training, courses, programmes and workshops.
Getting ready for the OM Yoga Show

And finally, Mick has been doing an awful lot of writing recently.
